Last weekend was a big weekend of socialising and eating . We caught up with cousins, friends and family. For a couple of reasons actually.
Have you overindulged recently? In this article, I'll share with you how to fix it immediately. So you overindulged... Here is how to fix it immediatelyAnd you know what happens when you socialise…
You are less likely to track what you eat and drink. This is usually followed by a few days of feeling bloated and gross. Or if you’re like me, feeling guilty. Or all three! I used to punish myself with exercise the day after. True story. These days though? I’m a little better. But if you’ve overindulged on food and/or alcohol? And you don’t know what to do next? I will tell you... Move on. ^ That’s it. Let me explain. You can’t change what happened right? And I’ll bet my top dollar you enjoyed yourself. I loved spending time with friends overindulging. Not that I ‘purposely’ overindulge. It usually goes hand in hand when you’re spending time with people. What I’m trying to say is there’s no point dwelling on what happened because it does not (and will not) help you moving forward. All you need to do is get back to your normal eating habits. And stop beating yourself up. Ever heard of the term swings and roundabouts? Or what goes around comes around? Similar principle right here. You lose weight over time don’t you? So once you get back on with your normal eating routine, guess what’s going to happen? You’ll continue losing weight. And that night will become a blip on your radar. A quick side note: If your eating habits are of consistent overindulging, then you need to focus on THAT. You aren’t losing weight, then a night of overindulging probably wasn’t overindulging - it was just another average day for you. But if you were already losing weight, And you think you’ve now ruined it because of one night? I’m sorry - you’re wrong. (In a good way) ;). You need to accept life will ALWAYS happen, socialising will always happen and you need to allow for it. Sure, I overindulged last weekend. But I moved on and continued my normal daily habits. Because I KNOW that’s what works. I know dwelling on it won’t help me. So, If you want help achieving this powerful mindset shift? And you’re stuck with your weight loss?
