In this article, Mandy uncovers five simple transformation tips that you need to know if you want a successful transformation. As you can see from Mandy's picture, she has completely changed the shape of her body and is feeling absolutely amazing. We are very fortunate that Mandy reveals exactly what it is, that made her weight loss so successful. "My body feels so much easier to live in. I am stronger, fitter, leaner and look forward to the next part of the journey." There's something about helping someone transform their body for the better that inspires the crap out of me. I love seeing the impact it has on someones life. So I don't take away from Mandy's awesome acomplishment, you can head over and read my life story in more detail right here. I'm very grateful to have dozens of success stories in body transformations (mainly weight loss), however it goes a lot deeper than that. What I mean is, a successful transformation isn't just changing your body. It's changing your mindset to one of a healthy individual. You're no longer 'trying' to lose weight, you're simply becoming a healthier person. One that enjoys exercise and a healthier lifestyle. With all of our success stories, there's a common theme and I feel like Mandy hits the nail on the head with these powerful transformation tips. Tip #1 - "Track your food"Mandy's first tip, as you can see, is all about tracking your food intake. When you track your calorie intake, it gives you that complete control and full awareness of the amount of food that you are consuming on a daily basis. Using an app like MyFitnessPal is a fantastic tool to use to really get an idea of how many calories you are consuming on a daily basis. However, if you do not like using an app, you can also use something as simple as the Notes app on your phone, or even just simply writing it down on this tracker right here (wink wink nudge nudge). The best part is, either method that you choose to take, will still get a result. The power of this is the fact it makes you simply more aware of the amount of calories you're consuming. So, if you want to drop weight, lose body fat, or just simply change your body shape, then I highly recommend you track your food just like Mandy did. Tip #2 - "Drink more water"Simple? Yes. Are we doing it? Nope. You'd be surprised how often we over estimate the amount of water we consume in a daily. Until you actually take note of the amount you consume, you realise how much you're not drinking. Plus, your water intake can vary so much from individual to individual. For example, your activity level may require a hell of a lot more fluid than the average person, so never assume you're drinking enough until you track it. If you've already read some of the articles on our website, you'll realise that there is a common trend here between this success tip to all our transformations. When it comes to a successful transformation, drinking enough water can make you feel fuller for longer and it keeps the cells in the body hydrated. Plus, it does help to keep those hunger cravings away, especially when you feel like snacking. Tip #3 - "Never give up, even when you falter"I smiled a BIG smile when Mandy shared with me this tip. It is very, very, important and that is you should NEVER give up even when you falter, because unlike what most weight loss programs have you believe, there is no quick fix. There will be a LOT of times when you do not feel like exercising. There'll be days when you feel demotivated - especially if your program has you believe that results will happen overnight. The reality is, that it is a roller coaster. There'll be days where you just really don't see success, and its very important on these days that you never give up, and you keep pushing forward. If you can do that? Well I guarantee that's when you will see your true success. Tip #4 - "You must remain consistent"The best plan in the world is still useless unless you can stick to it day in, day out. Consistency is a huge factor when it comes to successfully transforming your body because it's vitally important that you can keep up the same habits daily, weekly, monthly, over time. We use this exact flow chart in the studio to help form healthy habits among clients. They're always in the driver's seat. Remember, we don't lose weight in a day. We lose it consistently over time. So, Mandy's success comes down to the fact that we made sure she was able to consistently follow her guidelines. We kept everything simple. We didn't make anything overcomplicated and this allowed Mandy to stay consistent and this is why we have so many success stories. Tip #5 - "Make sure you have a good PT! (Which I did and still do)"Aww, thanks Mandy. Although this may seem a little biased to me (and I am very grateful for Mandy's great feedback) however, the same applies to you if you want to have a very successful transformation. Having your very own personal trainer can be very effective. It's having a coach who can give you that constant feedback like a co-pilot, for example. There will be times when you need to adjust trajectory, and having that co-pilot right next to you can make your journey a lot easier. So, if you're looking at employing a personal trainer, make sure you get a recommendation from a friend or someone you know who's experienced what they have to offer. Make sure you read plenty of reviews and ensure that they've got a lot of testimonials to back up their claims. The more results they have, the more you can rest assured they'll help you get from A to B safely and effectively. Mandy was recently named our Female winner of the Summer Slimdown 8 week challenge in November 2018.
